Mashhad is a city in northeastern Iran and the capital of Khorasan Razavi province. The city with 2,410,800 million people is the second-most populous city in Iran after Tehran. The presence of the shrine of Imam Reza, the eighth Imam of Shiite religion, in this city, draws over 13 million pilgrims to Mashhad annually. The Kashfrud River basin, which is located in Mashhad, was regarded as pre-Islamic as one of the areas considered for living in Khorasan due to its natural conditions. This region was originally the residence of non-Arians. In the immediate vicinity of the current city of Mashhad, there is a city called Toos. In Iranian myths, the main building of the city of Toos is attributed to Jamshid and its redevelopment to Toos, Pahlavan . Toos was completely conquered by the Arabs during the time of the Umman caliphate. In the Islamic period, the area was part of the Toos province, central to the city of Tabarran, which included the villages of Sanabad and Noghan, which are part of the current Mashhad. Mashhad has climate and special characteristics of the climate, and most of the Mashhad-Neyshabur plain is part of a cold and dry climate and part of Mashhad-Quchan Plain Semi-arid and cold, and a small part of the highest altitudes of Binalud and Hizsozid mountains are part of a cold, humid climate. Architectural complex,Shrine of the holy shrine of IMAM REAZA:Architectural Complex
The magnificent Razavi Shrine consist of courtyards, porches,  rich museum and central library of A
stan Quds. This architectural complex consists of four high veran dones called eyvan Abbasi, Eyvan Tala , Oriental or the House of Sculptor and West porch and five courtyards of  the Revolution , Freedom , Imam 
Khomeini, the Islamic Republic and Quds. The beautiful tile of the Seljuk period adorned with the Crimean verses and Shrine Hadiths is a special feature and the entire upper part of  the walls and ceiling  underneath the dome are decorated with mirrored Mogharnas. From other works of the magnificent interior of the shrine, three beautiful altars of the 7th century AH and the goldsmith on the side of Imam Reza (AS) are mentioned.
The complex also has 24 corridors, including Daral-e-Hefaz, Dara al-Sayyare, Dar al-Sa'adeh, Dar-al-Zekr, Dar al-ezze . Shrine of Razavi is one of the most comprehensive and beautiful buildings in the world of Islamic architecture and the encyclopedia of architecture, tiling, mirror, mogharnas and plaster of various Islamic periods.

Museum of Anthropology and Bathing Mehdi Gholibek:
Museum of Anthropology and Baths Mehdi Golibek Mashhad is located next to the tomb of Amir Ghiyath al-Din Malkshah on the western side of
 the shrine in the Andarzgo street in the historic
 Qalibik bath complex. This bath is one of the beautiful baths of the Safavid era, which is a 
set of
 urban facilities, located next to the tomb of Amir Maleshah (Shah Mosque) and Abanbar Sarsang and Sardasht Market .The building of Mahdi Gholibek's bathhouse, which has been preserved for four centuries since the creation of this treasury of art, has suffered serious damage over time, lack of care and unethical interference, which was aided by the technical and development deputy of the Astan Quds Razavi Endowment , Under the supervision of experts from the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Khorasan Razavi, and with the credit of the Development and Development Organization of the Imam Reza Shrine, was restored and eventually turned over to 
the Organization of Libraries, Museums and Documents Center of
Astan Quds Razavi, and changed to the Museum of Anthropology

Malek House
This building is located on Imam Khomeini Street in Mashhad and is one of the examples of beautiful houses left in the late of Qajar era. The building was much wider in the past, but now its only outer part consists of two floors. The top floor has a lattice, wood carvings and fireplace stucco. The property house belongs to one of the famous Mashhadi merchants, Haj Hossein Malek, and today is the center for the traditional arts training of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Khorasan Razavi.

Mellat Park of Mashhad: Mellat Mashhad Park:                                                                                   
the oldest park in Mashhad, was built in 1343 during the reign of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in a place that was then out of town, but due to urban development, this park has now been located inside the city. The boostan was designed by two English design engineers at the time, but the construction was eventually completed by Iranian engineers several years later. The largest carousel in the Middle East (Mellat Park) of Mashhad came into operation in 2005. This  will be able to raise 448 people at a height of 80 meters in a single round, and the occupants of this carousel will be able to See all parts of Mashhad.

Flower Garden of Mashhad:                                                                                            
Mashhad Flower Garden is one of the most beautiful gardens and flower gardens in the country. The physical design of the Mashhad flower garden is based on violet flowers so that if you look at the violet flower is composed of eight petals and the flower garden is like violet, each petal has a set of flowers, such as rocky flower gardens, Rose Garden,  Seasonal Flowers, Medicinal Flowers, Pond Flowers. It should be noted that in the flower garden of Mashhad in each season of the year flowers and plants are also planted in the same season. Mashhad flower gardens are about three acres.there are also other amenities such as Fountain,Outdoor Amphitheater, Children's Playground, Educational Greenhouse for Students and Scholars, and a pool where blue lotus are planted. The floral types of this pond, including the white lotus of the valley, whose white flowers are opened in August , is a yellowish lotus of the valley with its leaves in the form of a heart and yellow flowers, a lotus flower pigeon that has numerous white flowers, a lotus flower, It is pink and is originally for North America, a lotus pinkish  and a lotus lilac, all of which are flowering in the late spring to early fall, creating a mild and pleasant smell in space. In addition to the lotus water, there are also water hyacinths in the pond of the flower garden, which is native to the tropical and subtropical parts of southern America.  The flower garden is open every day from 9:00 to 23:00.

kooh sangi park:                                                                                                                                   
Is one of the oldest and most memorable Mashhad walkways, that is named after the two rocky mountains overlooking the city and is located alongside the southern mountain range of Mashhad. The great development of the Kooh sangi  recreational complex is currently under way, which is now in the vicinity of the urban fabric, and part of the Mashhad Belt Road, also known as the Asian Road, runs past its land.

Water wave land:                                                                                                                                      
Water waves land is one of the best water parks in Iran (along side ocean theme park in Kish and others). The park is a covered park, and is usable by men and women in different days. The park offers a huge amount of water slides, a lazy river, a wave pool and children area. The facility also offers a meal at its restaurant witch is included in the bought ticket.

Bezangan lake:                                                                                                                                                         
Bazangan Lake is the only natural lake in the province of Khorasan. The lake is about eighty hectares indepth of and  at least nine meters in length, and in the south of the mountain range of a thousand mosques is located about one hundred kilometers from the Mashhad road to the fern. The water of this lake is from annual rainfall and small fountains The bottom of the lake is supplied, and 33 species of phytoplankton algae have been identified in Lake Bazangan until now. The taste of water is also bitter and sour. This lake and its surroundings are a good habitat for migratory fish, migratory birds and birds, springtime and native. This lake is known as the only "natural effect" of the Khorasan province. The Bazangan Cave is located six kilometers southwest of the village of Bazangan and dates back to the BC.
