Asef Vaziri Building:

Zarivar Lake:
The freshwater wetland, Zarivar Lake, known as a lost paradise in the Iranian western province of Kurdistan, never fails to amaze visitors.Zarivar or Zeribar Lake, with a length of 5 km and a maximum width of 1.6 km, is located near the city of Marivan. Khosrow Abad Mansion:
This mansion is on Khosro – Abad Boulevard. It is a unique building which was once the center of ardalani Governors, especially Khosro Khan Ardalan.The mansion whit its garden has two main parts: the royal palace to the west of the building with a pillared entrance and the eastern part whit pillared porch which overlooks the outer area of the mansion. In addition to these two main parts there are also other parts such as bath, servant and doormen's room.From among the architectural assets of this mansion we can name the brickwork, Oroosies and the cross – shaped pond which is inside the mansion. 

Khan Bath:

This bath is on the northern side of the old bazaar in Enghelab Square in Sanandaj. The interior decorations and designs on the walls of it are exquisite and interesting in their kind. This bath was built in 1220 hijri year to the order of Aman Allah Khan Ardalan and is the biggest and most beautiful bath among the baths remaining from the past.Numerous waterfronts in the cold and hot water bath and architectural decorations including limestone works and seven color tilings with Rumi and local designs are prominent features of this invaluable monument. Khan Bath in Sanandaj was owned by the Department of Cultural Heritage in 1377 and its protection began in 1378.

Salar Saeid Mansion:

This mansion is on the exterior part of Mulla Lotf Allah Sheikh Al-Islam in Habibi Alley on Imam Street and is a museum in Sanandaj at the moment where historical objects discovered from the province and other parts of Iran are put on a show. This building was established in late reign of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar by Mullah Lotf Allah Sheikh al-Islam, one of the famous Sunni scholars of Qajar era. Later on it was owned by Salar Saied Sanandaji and became known by his name. The orosi in the royal livingroom of this mansion is one of the greatest orosis in Iran that was done by famous Kurdish master “Habib Allah Sanandaji” known as Master Nesa’ and his two sons.

Vakil Mansion:
This mansion is on Keshavarz St It consists of three yards with their related buildings, a private bath inside the mansion , and a public one outside of it The main part of Vakil Mansion is built in Zandiyeh period and the other parts are built in Qajar period.This mansion boasts decorations such as brickwork and arGosies. The central part of it has a gable roof which arch-shaped.

Jameh Mosque:

Jameh Mosque of Sanandaj or Dar al-Ehsan was built in Qajar period and is located in the heart of Sanandaj. This mosque which represents the glory of Islamic architecture at Qajar era was established by the governor of the time and became one of the historical and visitable monuments for its specific features.According to available inscriptions, the building of the mosque was built in 1227 hijri year by Aman Allah Khan Ardalan, the governor of Kurdistan. Jameh Mosque of Kurdistan is the most glorious and elegant mosque in Kurdistan Province and application of perfect construction materials for building and decorating it, its vast adobe tilings accompanied by inscriptions and writings are prominent features of the mosque.

 Abidar Mountain, which is located in the east of Sanandaj, is the place where people go hiking and has many beautiful parks. Abidar main jungle park was designed and renovated in 1995. New roads were built to the highest places of the mount to increase the accessibility even for older people, without destroying the original view.Also, Abidar Open Air Cinema, one of the biggest outdoor cinemas, was built over Amirieh Valley. Until just a few years ago, the only video that could be played in the Abidar cinema was by 35 mm movie projectors and the use of other sources like TV and DVD was not possible. The sound was then broadcast through the transmitter, people were listening through radio using FM broadcast band frequency but that was not comfortable because of audio and video was not synchronize. The Municipality recently switched from 35mm film to digital cinema projector.
